A Service at St Paul’s Cathedral, Purpol’s Charity of the year, our training prize draw and the 12 Purpol Days of Christmas launching on 1st Dec!
An incredibly amazing day was had on 16th November with Denise attending The Service of Dedication for The Most Excellent Order of the British Empire at St Paul’s Cathedral.
The Band of the Welsh Guard played, the Choir sang, the Trumpeters of the Band of the Prince of Wales sounded fanfares and the Cathedral bells rang.
It was an event of Incredible honour and emotions.

Cherishers 811 CIC is Purpol’s Charity of the year.
We know many of our friends support this amazing organisation which does so much for the elderly and vulnerable. We have been assisting with grant applications and have had great success with crowdfunding as many companies also support charities with fund matching.

We are supporting our friends Cherishers 811 CIC with their current crowdfund and have unlocked some extra funding from the M&S Energy Fund.

Although we had already secured some pledges from Aviva Staff, we need 15 more pledges of minimum £1 to unlock the fund match.
Every donation made will be matched by both the M&S Community Energy Fund and the Aviva Cost of Living Boost. (So £5 donated provides £15 of funding…)

We previously crowdfunded to provide Befriending and sport & therapy classes for the elderly via a BA Crowdfund – and they have just reopened this to accept donations including the ability to donate Avios points.
The funding will provide additional community art and sports therapy activities and events or free, on demand.
