Now in its third year, the Bristol Post and Bath Chronicle Women in Business Awards recognise the fantastic achievements of women across the two cities, and are held in association with the University of the West of England.
Denise O’Leary, MD of Purpol Marketing is thrilled to be named as a finalist at the Women in Business Awards for this great celebration of South West entrepreneurial talent for three categories: Award For Innovation, Home Based Business Of The Year and New Business of the Year.
Denise founded Purpol Marketing in 2014 as an agency with a difference, specialising in the construction and manufacturing industries, providing marketing strategy and bid management expertise.
Purpol Marketing provides a unique service working with SMEs as well as larger organisations to develop bid strategies for major construction projects. Purpol has helped clients win substantial contracts with organisations such as Bristol Airport and win places on frameworks such as the £850m South West Wales Regional Contractors Framework and the Wessex Water framework of approved contractors. Purpol also works across all sectors delivering marketing strategy advice and helping deliver pitch to win expertise for all sizes of businesses.
For the year ahead O’Leary has a business plan that is both aggressive in terms of growth combined with a holistic approach to recruiting new staff and associates; changing the landscape of bid tendering across many market sectors as well as construction.
“What an honour to be named amongst such inspirational South west business leaders who are blazing the trail for female entrepreneurship.
