My Third Month at Purpol Marketing – Kickstart Jack Watkins

What have I learned?

Wow, it has already been 3 months at Purpol and it has gone extremely fast. This month at Purpol has been heavily focused on group projects with the working on the online course Net Zero and being the team leader for this month on the project. I’ve had to lead my team and learn leadership skills in setting tasks and using my team members’ strengths.

That isn’t the only group task with the Luxury Brand naming project where we have had to put together a gemstone company and each make a logo for our company considering colours, shape, font and what these will represent about the company.

As I’m writing this I am working with the other team leader in Aqua to present all of our ideas of the Pink and Aqua team so everyone can see what we have done.

What have I enjoyed?

I’ve enjoyed working with my teammates and planning and making voice and video content for the online course. Recording and making a script to read and working together into a larger project is a nice change of pace compared to mostly individual tasks and it’s nice knowing it will help people in the future as an online course as Net Zero is a subject I’m very passionate about. Having great Net Zero planning and results will directly change the future of this planet so educating businesses on it is extremely important.

I’ve still enjoyed the normal work I’ve been doing over the last 2 months such as webinars/seminars, online courses to do and tasks using Canva for graphic design for a Luxury brand naming project which I feel like I am improving at. I look forward to the future with more on-bid writing learning tasks or writing or graphic tasks with the chance of doing the tasks I prefer or am better at such as writing or graphics.
