Purpol Marketing reports 40 percent growth as they win Business of the Year and 2 additional awards

Chippenham based consultancy, Purpol Marketing, is celebrating treble wins this week, taking home the prestigious title of Business of the Year in the Bristol Post and Bath Chronicle Women of the Year Awards, alongside winning the Home Business of the Year Award and the Award for Innovation. These awards are the perfect prize for Denise O’Leary, who founded Purpol Marketing in 2014 as an agency with a difference, specialising in the construction and manufacturing industries providing marketing strategy and bid management expertise.

Purpol reach their third anniversary having been recognised in the last year as the Best Independent Consultant in the National WIM awards, as well as joint winners of the Best Service Provider in the Chippenham Business Awards. They have successfully trademarked the Purpol brand and been finalists in many national business and construction sector awards.

Purpol offer clients a supported service to successfully bid contracts that were previously unobtainable. They work with SMEs to guide them through major tender and framework bids whilst focusing the messaging on client needs. Demand is such they have just recruited Intern Jordan Kelly into a permanent role, working alongside Denise and Senior Consultant Gavin White.

Denise loves to share her marketing expertise and recently led a workshop on how effective communication sells as part of the celebrations for International Women’s Day.

Denise stated: “Purpol have had a phenomenal third year, we measure our success by how much our clients win, understanding that each bid is of unique importance to each client. With our market leading success rate of 95%, we have many significant contracts for our clients, including frameworks worth £850m.  Our marketing consultancy is proving so popular for smaller companies that we will soon be launching online training courses. I am delighted that Purpol’s growth can enable us to recruit Jordan as our digital marketing assistant, following on from his internship. We have also been delighted to provide both summer and winter placements as well as work experience for students who have a keen interest in marketing.

“From the point of start up in March 2014, we always knew that to reach the third-year milestone would be a major achievement. Giving back to our community by sharing our knowledge and providing training opportunities whilst growing our client’s businesses is fundamental to Purpol’s Success. Growing by 40% is recognition that our strategy is working and we are keen to share our expertise with a extended client base, measuring our future success on how much our clients win.
