Enterprising-Wiltshire-Awards-2015Purpol Marketing are delighted to be one of 3 finalists shortlisted for the Enterprising Wiltshire Awards, in the Start-up business category.

With the business a mere 11 months old, the company is responding to client demands for director level marketing support and is going from strength to strength.

Purpol Marketing was launched to fill a gap in the market by providing marketing director level expertise on a ‘pay as you go’ basis. The recession forced many businesses to be efficient and agile, able to react quickly to market changes reflecting client needs.

Purpol Marketing recognised that the modern business environment has a willingness and acceptance to utilise external skills from highly qualified individuals, rather than risk under-utilisation of expensive employed staff.
Purpol Marketing exists to provide clients with strategic marketing skills, delivering best value for clients and has initially specialised in the construction and manufacturing sectors, where the model is carefully targeted to owners and directors who understand the benefits of the proposition.

Founder and Managing Director, Denise O’Leary commented

“We are absolutely thrilled to be shortlisted for this prestigious award in the start-up business category. As a Wiltshire based business operating throughout the country, we are delighted to have local recognition. Purpol’s whole trading model of providing a high level of strategic marketing expertise on a ‘pay as you go’ basis, also makes advice affordable to SME’s who recognise the benefits of engaging consultants as and when the need arises. Purpol is proud of its Wiltshire roots and we look forward to meeting other excellent local businesses at the Awards ceremony on 20th March 2015.”

Backed by Wiltshire Council and run by the Wiltshire Business Support Service, the Awards celebrate Wiltshire’s top businesses. The Awards have seven categories including small business, exporter, young entrepreneur, manufacturer, start-up, best product or service, and green business.

The winners will be announced at an Awards ceremony at Bowood Hotel and Spa, in Calne on 20th March.

The winner of each category receives a prize of £1,500 (provided by Wiltshire Council) and winner of The Business of the Year Award – chosen from the seven finalists – will receive an additional £500 and a business support package from Wiltshire Business Support Service.
