Week 11 at Purpol Marketing
I had some time off this week to complete a uni assignment. The assignment was actually a ‘Learning Contract’ about my placement and the skills I expect to pick up, along with personal and professional development. Now eleven weeks into my placement, it hasn’t been until writing this that I realised just how far I’ve come in capability.
During my research for this I learnt that flexible working is going to be a norm of the future to suit the flexibility of my generation. This is true of Purpol Marketing as they empower me with the freedom to self manage my work and meet my individual needs. The flexibility has been great in settling me in to a new company, and besides work Denise and I have many conversations about my new puppy!
Purpol Marketing have also been announced as a finalist for Innovative Start up Business in the Bath Chronicle Awards 2016. This is the award I’m most proud for Purpol to be shortlisted for, as this is such a tough and ambiguous category. With so many businesses being innovative in different ways today, whether in terms of structure, technology or product so this is huge recognition for Purpol. I also look forward to attending my first awards evening in September!
In other work, I have looked to generate news articles for retained clients, expanding on our infographics and creating more whitepapers which we will rollout in our direct mailing. From this we will be able to form a library of whitepapers and infographics of all different topics.
