It’s the end of my second week already here at Purpol Marketing, and it’s been a busy one. I am really settling into my role here at the company, and I am very much enjoying it. All of our 12 Purpol days of Christmas prizes have been won, wrapped and sent off to the lucky winners. So congratulations to all of you who entered and won. I have also been invited to attend my first conference on the 17th of January next year, and I am very much looking forward to. In addition to this exciting news this week, Denise has been awarded the highest level of CIM accreditation, which is fantastic! Well done Denise!
After a lot of trial and error, we have now finished the bid-management eBook and is being reviewed my Amazon, so it should be going live very soon! This was timely project due to the file formats not being recognised by amazon, and displaying something completely different to the actual file. But nonetheless, I’ve ironed out the wrinkles and have finally submitted it on the system, so keep your eyes peeled for some exciting updates!
During the time spent on the eBook, I was also working on another project in the background. This is a wire-frame for an upcoming video that we will be producing in the New Year. The video is an online course, showing new businesses’ how to market themselves in a way that shows their full potential as an organisation.
The initial body content for this was created on Trello, it is a content board sort of concept, where you can add notes and comments as you wish. This really helped to get the content in order that we wanted for when we shoot the video. For this project, I was uncovering things about the industry that I wasn’t that clued in on, so this also benefited me, I was learning new things as I was writing about them. You can never know everything about the industry, every day you learn something new.
One thing that I have learned about working here at Purpol Marketing is that not one day is the same! Some days I was working on the book, others a video. In-between that I was researching marketing strategies and exportations within the industry. I very much enjoy what I do here, and enjoy always being busy and having projects to work on. In other news this week, I have now designed my official Purpol Marketing profile picture for when I am involved in projects that have gone through a press release (photo below).
