Week 3 At Purpol Marketing
Today marks the end of my third week here at Purpol Marketing; I can’t believe how quickly it is going! Its all down to the fact that I really thoroughly enjoy what I do here, as soon as I get to my home office, the door is closed and I get my head down and get the work done. I have really stuck it lucky working here, as I am doing something that I truly love doing. Having a job that you actually like getting up for in the morning can be very rare!
This week has been a very eventful and exciting one again. Purpol Marketing has now officially been awarded its trademark! This is fantastic news and all that hard work of building up the business is all down to Denise. We have gained some great testimonials and feedback from our clients that we have been working with recently, and after much determination and tweaking we can now announce that our first eBook is officially ready for purchase via Amazon. Here’s the link to the page: https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B01MYZEVDE/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1482402424&sr=8-1&keywords=Denise+o%27leary
In terms of the work that I have been involved with this week, it has been something new every day! I love the fact that working in a small fast paced business environment means that there is never a dull moment! You are always busy! This week I have been designing my first press release profile photos that are to be sent out to different media networks. The press release was actually about me joining the team here at Purpol.
One of the other exciting projects that I have been working on these last few days is trying my hand and writing my first award entries. As I have never done anything like that before I wasn’t too sure what to expect. However, once I read the requirements document, I was in my element and the answers to the questions just flowed. The category that I was working on first of all is a completely new one for this year; it is the ‘Apprenticeship Training and Professional Development Employer of the Year’. As the intern, I found that I could answer the questions in depth and give my answers based on how I feel from the intern’s perspective. As well as this category Denise has also entered a few more and hopefully, 2017 will be Purpol’s year!
All in all, this has been a very fun, exciting and busy week for us here at Purpol, and I like it that way! I feel as if I have really settled in within the company and have built up a good working relationship with Denise too. She always there to help me with any questions that I may have on the work at hand, and is just a phone call away. As this is the last working day before Christmas at Purpol, I would like to thank Denise for the opportunity given to me to work here at Purpol Marketing, and to wish Gavin and everyone at Purpol a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!!
