DENISE O’LEARY WINS SILVER AND BRONZE STEVIE® AWARDS IN 2019 STEVIE AWARDS FOR WOMEN IN BUSINESS
Women Around the World Recognised at Event in New York City
Shining a spotlight on women executives, entrepreneurs, and organisations run by women, winners in the 2019 Stevie® Awards for Women in Business were announced on Friday, November 15 in New York, USA.
Denise O’Leary of Purpol Marketing has been named the winner of a Silver Stevie® Award in the Female Entrepreneur of the Year – Business Services –10 or Less Employees category and a Bronze Stevie® Award in the Most Innovative Woman of the Year – Advertising, Marketing & Public Relations category in the 16th annual Stevie Awards for Women in Business.
The Stevie Awards for Women in Business honour women executives, entrepreneurs, employees, and the companies they run– worldwide. The Stevie Awards have been hailed as the world’s premier business awards.
Nicknamed the Stevies for the Greek word for “crowned,” the awards were presented to winners last night during a dinner event attended by more than 550 people at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York City. The event was broadcast via Livestream.
With more than 500 businesswomen and their guests in attendance, the awards were announced at a gala dinner at the New York Marriott Marquis. The presentations were broadcast live worldwide.
More than 1,500 entries were submitted this year for consideration in more than 90 categories, including Executive of the Year, Entrepreneur of the Year, Company of the Year, Startup of the Year, Women Helping Women, and Women Run Workplace of the Year. Purpol Marketing founder Denise O’Leary won in the Entrepreneur of the Year – Business Services –10 or Less Employees category and the Most Innovative Woman of the Year – Advertising, Marketing & Public Relations categories.

Gold, Silver, and Bronze Stevie Award winners were determined by the average scores of more than 150 business professionals around the world, working on eight juries.

Entries for the 2020 Stevie Awards for Women in Business will open in May. The 2020 awards dinner will be staged on Friday, November 13 at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, Nevada USA. The 2020 Women|Future Conference will also be staged at Caesars Palace on November 12-13.
