Purpol Marketing and Denise O’Leary named as finalists in Wiltshire Business of the Year Awards.

The Wiltshire Business of the Year Awards are the prestigious Business Awards, developed by Newsquest Wiltshire in order to reward and celebrate the many dynamic and innovative businesses in Wiltshire.

Purpol Marketing are celebrating being named as a finalist in the Small Business of the Year category and Owner, Denise O’Leary is thrilled to be named as a finalist in the Business Person of the Year category.

In their 21st year, the Wiltshire Business of the Year Awards have become the business recognition platform that elevates outstanding organisations above the rest. The Awards showcase excellence and confidence in business, highlighting companies performing successfully, demonstrating best practice, corporate ethics and innovation by proving they are one of Wiltshire’s best.

The entrants needed to provide background information on the start of their business, describe their products or services, identify what makes the business different and show the positive impact in Wiltshire and beyond. In addition, the judges considered how the business is promoted, how customers are looked after, business sustainability and responsibility and success measures for the future.

With Purpol Marketing approaching its first birthday the recognition is a massive boost for both Denise and the broader business. Purpol Marketing was created to fill a gap in the market by providing marketing director level expertise on a ‘pay as you go’ basis. The recession forced many businesses to be efficient and agile, able to react quickly to market changes reflecting client needs. Whilst the recovery is taking hold, there is still caution in recruitment of high level marketing resource, so client demands for director level marketing support is going from strength to strength.

The Wiltshire Business Of The Year Awards feature 8 award categories including Apprenticeship Employer Of The Year, Business Person Of The Year, Customer And Staff Care, Environmental, Medium Sized Enterprise Of The Year, Service To The Community and Small Business Of The Year. The winner from each award will then compete for the Overall Excellence award.

The celebration Gala Dinner will take place at Center Parcs, Longleat Forest, Warminster on 17th April 2015 when the winners will be announced.
