Purpol Marketing sponsor local Chippenham pupil in Kenyan expedition!
Purpol Marketing’s helping hand has reached far and wide, most recently sponsoring local Chippenham pupil in his courageous travels to Kenya.
Joe Escott is one of 29 year 11 and 12 students of Hardenhiush School, with Camps International, who have embarked on a 4 week expedition following two years of fundraising activities.
Managing Director of Purpol Marketing, Denise O’Leary’s home office is based in Chippenham and with her employees also based across the South West, for them, this was a great cause they wanted the company to support. With lots of volunteering hours spent transforming local communities between them, Purpol acknowledge the insight to be gained through such an authentic cultural experience.
This will be the school’s sixth expedition with Camps International, and they are promised to have an action packed agenda, getting stuck into activities working as part of the local community alongside local adults and children to improve their standard of living, and conservation work to safeguard the future of the Kenyan wildlife.
When the Purpol team met last month to market their new online Magnificent Marketing Course that has recently gone live, Denise, her colleagues and interns were all left feeling inspired by the pupils of Hardenhuish School’s selfless attitude and willingness to get stuck in!
In support of Joe, Purpol have done their bit and partially sponsored his trip, in return he is proudly supporting specially made Purpol printed t-shirts. These are sure to come in handy whilst getting busy laying foundations for new classroom builds, meeting local primary school members, and even taken on safari!
The Purpol team look forward to seeing photos of Joe and his Purpol T-shirts throughout the expedition at their next meeting and have been keeping up to date with their progress using the Twitter account, @HKenya17.
Denise commented “We are thrilled to be supporting such a good cause, and wish Joe and his fellow pupils all the best in their expedition. We are delighted to support young people who selflessly give their time and effort with enthusiasm. Whilst Purpol have yet to have an African office, we are sure the t-shirts serve good purpose, and might even stir up some brand recognition in Africa!”
Purpol Marketing are delighted to support the local business community too, with their Magnificent Marketing online step-by-step course designed specifically for small and start-up businesses to define and build their marketing plan.
