The seventh week of my internship has come to an end now, and it has been a rather busy one too! This week there has been lots of exciting things happening, we have now sent off all of our award entries for ‘The Wiltshire Business of the Year Awards’. The most recent category that we have entered was the creative marketing campaigns. As a marketing company, I have a good feeling about this year! As well as entering the final category, we have also been announced as 2017 finalists. We have now begun to slowly start changing out branding as we are now adding the Purpol Trademark into our collateral, this has involved switching our old logo from our graphics, and adding in our new one with the Registered Trademark Logo next to it.

In addition, this week I have also been creating many more infographics for our various projects that we have underway at the moment. One of these also links to our forthcoming export event in February on the 7th, these graphics will be used in conjunction to this event. Following on from this, there have been some updates that I have been working on for the export presentation as well as creating a new one based on communication.

During this week Denise visited Bath Spa University to talk at the Job Shop event there. Here she spoke about the importance of giving opportunities to students and graduates, as a recent BSU graduate myself, I am very grateful for having the opportunity to come aboard at Purpol. From this I have been editing some photos that were taken on the event, ready for a press release letting everybody know what we got up to.

It has been a full-on week here at Purpol, but as always it’s been fun, exciting and a new project or task to work on each day. Next Friday, February 3rd, the Purpol Marketing team are heading into Bath for the day for our belated Christmas doo, here we will be doing a brewery tour and tasting as well as learning to make sausage’s too! Not only that, but it also gives me a good chance to meet the rest of the team who I haven’t met yet and it’s going to be a great day! Next week is going to be another busy one too, and I am very much looking forward to getting stuck in with the exciting projects that we are working on!
